The Original Christian Web and New Media Awards 2009

The Original Christian Web and New Media Awards were the first ever exclusively Christian award ceremony for bloggers and web designers in the UK. They were established in 2007 by Premier Christian Media to recognise and reward Christian achievements on the internet.

Now in its third year, The Original Christian Web and New Media Awards continue to grow. The awards now feature a new media section, to recognise a wider range of Christian achievements in technology, from iPhone applications to VJ to flash games.

As usual, we'll be awarding winners with a range of prizes, including £1000 for Best Small Church Website.

Welcome!

Welcome to The Original Christian Web and New Media Awards, an annual event that recognises and rewards the best in Christian websites and blogs in the UK.

Last year's awards saw some of the finest bloggers and web designers meet at the internet church, St Stephen Walbrook for a star studded awards evening hosted by Jeff Lucas and Maria Toth.

This year, we will be opening the nominations officially on March 26th as part of the celebrations around Internet Evangelism Day.

We will be announcing the winners to an intimate gathering of one hundred guests at an exclusive awards ceremony in the centre of London on the 18th of September. The prizes on offer this year will include £1000 for Best Small Church, a Ministry Programme on Premier Christian Radio for Best Large Church, and a host of other prizes including an Apple Laptop, an iPod Touch, a home cinema projector and a Nintendo Wii.

We are now accepting entries to the awards, simply head over to our submissions page and fill out the form.
